A New Page

Every day is a New Page in the book of one's life.

Every day is a New Page in the book of one's life. 
Yet as the pen forms the first letter on a fresh page, the Lord knows it. 
Ages before the thought was born in the finite mind, the Infinite ordained it. 

If it is of God, let it be written!
If it is of flesh, let not ink be wasted.

If the Word of God richly dwells in a man;
let his mind meditate upon it.
May his pen compose it;
and his lips proclaim it!

Few thoughts are worthy of thinking; 
Yet fewer are worthy of inking;
Fewer still are worthy of speaking.

The heart of a man is a deep ocean; 
God has set eternity in every heart;
Yet man's earthly life is but a mist.

Set your mind on what is good - on Christ who is high and lifted up.
Then, your New Page will be written in Gold;
The book of your life will be written by the hand of God.

"For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!"
