Are your thoughts, deeds, and actions pleasing to the Lord?
A morning reflection and amplification
As a redeemed sinners, beloved by Jesus Christ, we should live for Him.
We should live a life pleasing in His sight. No out of obligation, although Christ does in fact have claim, but out of praise for who He is and what He’s done for us.
Often times, we don’t live for Him. We live for the god of self.
At those moments, our Christian religion is hallow.
Confess this sin. Repent and believe the Gospel once again!
The Father forgives.
Christ intercedes.
The Holy Spirit assures.
Oh what a beautiful mercy! Oh, what goodness - bestowed on lowly sinners like us.
Justified!
Prayer:
Pray that the Lord causes you to set forth His praise and Glory today in every moment.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Psalm 19:14
