A New Creation
In thy rising, I live a ransomed life;
Lord, as I begin today, I cast aside the numerous failures and harms I've caused others in my years. I am not to allow sin and failure to shape my life. Instead, I am to be conformed to the image of Christ, allowing my heart to be taught by failures, even the consequences of sin.
In thy redeeming light, I see my helpless lowly state. In thy cross, I know my sin is put to death. In thy rising, I live a ransomed life; Forever - for your glory and my good.
Oh what mercy and grace have been given to me; What joy and peace has come from Thee! Amen
